This online list of terms and definitions provides up-to-date information on essential terms of "horizontal relevance" for Cooperative Intelligent Transport  Systems (C-ITS). It is maintained by ESF GmbH. .

It serves as a guide for C-ITS system designers, C-ITS deployment, and C-ITS standard developers. It aims on avoiding duplicate definitions presented in new standards.
